Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: 17 goals

In Light of these sublime goals, which call for the concepts of balanced and comprehensive development on all levels, they have not addressed one of the most humanitarian ambitions – namely, freedom of creativity, Arts, and culture.

Despite the global diversity in Arts, cultures, and traditions, creativity has constantly been the humanistic means of inter-communication among human beings at all times.

Hence, we acknowledge the necessity of backing the global human creativity in arts, culture, and sports as one of the pivotal concept to achieve the human and planet Development Goals, world peace and prosperity.

Since the dawn of civilization, the seven-thousand-year old Egypt has adopted Arts and creativity in various fields, leaving behind universal heritage depicting the history of mankind.

Therefore, from Egypt, we launch the initiative of supporting the global human creativity under the title “Renascence of Arts” as an initial motor goal for global sustainable development. Having believed in the importance of this goal, we call it “Goal Zero” to be viewed as the driver to a sustainable development concept which sublimes the humanistic dimension of the SDGs. We believe that renascence of creativity will develop human performance in all other aspects.

Thus, we aspire for the world support to inaugurate this initiative to be adopted by The United Nations and included into the set of SDGs.

Your concurrence to the initiative will enhance the humanitarian and cultural dimension of the SDGs.
