  • Support Technical team members in drafting a style rule of writing to facilitate the proofreading and grammatical errors.
  • Re-construct the technical content to be up to international standards (British English-American English)
  • Ability to understand the requirements of various teams and convey the client’s key messages adequately and appropriately through the effective use of language
  • Performs line-editing and proofreading, checking for formatting consistency, grammatical accuracy, and spelling errors
  • Proofread documents to ensure the material is visually and grammatically correct.
  • Use standardized proofreading code to mark errors that appear in the document.
  • Maintain a record of all items that have been revised or proofread.
  • Mark up the original copy or drafts for correction if there are any grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors.
  • Possess the ability to multitask well while maintaining a high level of accuracy and precision, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written abilities.
  • Checks for adherence to style guides and/or brand-specific style guides
  • Ensures that the final copy matches the approved job along with assessing design elements
  • When applicable, verifies all captions for photos and illustrations are accurate


Required skills:

  • Superior knowledge of English language (Native or as Native), including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Advanced knowledge of writing styles
  • Microsoft Office and Windows (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) expertise is a must
  • Knowledge of sustainability and sustainable development terminology.
  • Knowledge of common terminology across various sectors (Financial, Industrial, F&B, Construction,…etc).
  • Flexibility is required in order to respond swiftly and constructively to shifting priorities;
  • the capacity to work under tight deadlines is required.
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all the revised documents
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build working relationships; ability to negotiate delivery times due to competing deadlines.
  • 5+ years of experience as an editor in a collaborative environment reviewing both interactive and print work
