Our mission is to create a safer, more sustainable, and more productive world.  We seek a talented, ambitious, and enthusiastic environmental sustainability individual to join our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) team.

Roles & Responsibility

  • Environmental and Life Cycle Assessment: An Environmental and LCA Engineer is responsible for conducting environmental and life cycle assessments to evaluate the environmental impacts of products, processes, and systems. This includes analyzing the environmental inputs and outputs associated with a product or process, identifying the key environmental impacts, and evaluating potential improvements.
  • Sustainable Product Design: An Environmental and LCA Engineer is responsible for assisting clients in developing sustainable product design strategies, including evaluating the environmental impact of various design options and identifying potential areas for improvement. This could involve developing sustainable design guidelines, evaluating the environmental performance of different materials, and developing sustainable packaging strategies.
  • Sustainable Supply Chain Management: An Environmental and LCA Engineer is responsible for evaluating the environmental impact of a client’s supply chain, including assessing the sustainability of raw materials, transportation, and production processes. This could involve identifying potential improvements to reduce the environmental impact of the supply chain and promoting sustainable procurement practices.
  • Carbon Footprint Reporting: An Environmental and LCA Engineer is responsible for calculating and reporting a client’s carbon footprint, including assessing emissions associated with energy consumption, transportation, and production processes. This involves identifying opportunities for reducing emissions, recommending carbon reduction strategies, and preparing carbon footprint reporting for organizations.
  • Sustainability Reporting: An Environmental and LCA Engineer is responsible for developing sustainability reports that document a client’s sustainability performance and progress. This includes analyzing and interpreting data, creating reports that meet reporting standards and best practices, and ensuring that carbon footprint data is accurately reported.
  • Regulatory Compliance: An Environmental and LCA Engineer is responsible for helping clients comply with relevant environmental regulations and standards, including air and water quality regulations, hazardous waste management, and sustainable product labeling.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: An Environmental and LCA Engineer is responsible for engaging with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and local communities, to promote sustainable practices and build support for sustainability initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: An Environmental and LCA Engineer is responsible for continuously monitoring and evaluating sustainability performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that clients are achieving their sustainability goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, chemical, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and passion for sustainability, environmental systems, life cycle thinking, product sustainability, and/or climate change.
  • Strong quantitative or technical background with an excellent aptitude for analytical thinking.
  • Natural curiosity to investigate issues, conduct research, design solutions, and translate results into business practices.
  • Self-motivated and organized; able to simultaneously work on multiple assignments and work independently and on teams.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Desire to help companies succeed in an environmentally sustainable manner.
