DCarbon was delighted to collaborate with Nile University School for Continuing Education to deliver a professional two-day Training & Workshop Program on Carbon Footprint Reporting.
On the first day, the Program covered a wide range of topics, including but not limited to, Climate Change and its impacts, the fundamentals of Carbon Footprint, identifying GHG Emission Sources, and calculating GHG emissions for Scopes 1&2.
On the second day, we delved deeper into identifying and calculating Scope 3 GHG Emissions, setting Base Year, Emission Recalculations, Tracking Emissions Overtime, and Reduction plans, and finally the Verification Process.
The attendees were engaged through case studies and solving worksheets to gain hands-on experience in the subject.
The Program was conducted by Dr. Nasser Ayoub, PhD, a Life Cycle Carbon Footprint Assessment Expert, and Eng. Ahmed Alaa Hassan, an Environmental Senior Associate, who provided valuable practical insights throughout the case studies.
The objective of this Program was to equip participants with the necessary tools and techniques to accurately calculate and report their organization’s Carbon Footprint.
DCarbon is proud to have applied to this Program in partnership with Nile University, and looking forward to continued collaborations in spreading awareness about Carbon Footprint Reporting.
