Mayar Hatem
Environmental & Lifecycle Researcher 

Mayar is a dedicated environmental enthusiast with an academic background in Environmental Engineering from the University of Science and Technology at Zewail City. She is deeply committed to addressing climate change and sustainability challenges. During her academic journey, Mayar focused on climate change from multiple angles, studying its fundamentals, modelling, and economic implications. She also actively engaged in extracurricular activities, including leadership roles in IEEE and participating in a climate change-focused play for the Zewail City Festival. Mayar further demonstrated her commitment by joining the Climate Reality Project and attending climate-related events such as the Local Conference of Youth (LCOY).

Currently working as an Environmental and Life Cycle Assessment Researcher at DCarbon, Mayar conducts comprehensive life cycle assessments and analyses environmental impact data. Her work aligns with her passion for sustainability, positioning her as a valuable contributor to the environmental field. Mayar aspires to make a meaningful impact by developing innovative solutions to combat climate change and promote sustainable practices.
