Shams graduated from Xiamen University Malaysia, holding a Bachelor’s degree of Engineering in New Energy Science and Engineering. She graduated with honours, ranked top 25% of her class and consistently earned a place on the Dean’s list.

During her internship at a leading biomass company in Malaysia, Shams researched optimizing palm tree compositions for energy-efficient pellets, contributing to advancements in renewable energy.

In her current role, she combines her expertise in energy science with a passion for sustainability, conducting environmental assessments to ensure projects align with green goals and support the development of sustainable urban environments.
